Established in 1987, we’re located in the pretty village of Ashley, just outside of Newmarket. Offering a delicious menu of British & French food and an extensive wine list, our welcoming and comfortable surroundings, have gained us many loyal friends.

Opening Times

Monday: Closed

Tuesday to Saturday: Open from 6.30pm – 12.00pm

Sunday: Midday – 2.30pm

We cater for vegetarians, vegans and any other specific dietary requirements.

Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs on the premises.

Great food

We take great pride in offering a menu throughout the week that is not only delicious, but is also updated regularly with fantastic specials.

Sundays are always a treat at The Old Plough, and our selection of roasts (Beef, turkey, Pork or Lamb) are accompanied by all the trimmings.

Whilst we will always do what we can to accommodate people on the day, our restaurant does get very busy, especially during race season, so we advise on booking beforehand in order not to be disappointed.
